Hi! My name’s Genni and I’m a 6-year-old spayed English Mastiff. I came to Lucy Mackenzie this spring when my family realized that I was having trouble with some of the other animals in the household, and it was all becoming too much for us all. Since I’ve been here, lots of good things have happened. I’ve come to realize (as have the people that are caring for me) that I really do want to be the only dog in my new home – it’s true! It’s just too stressful for me otherwise. Speaking of stressful, strangers and unpredictable households are very stressful for me and I wouldn’t fare well with either of those elements being routine in my life. I really do love to play, though – really, I do! My favorite are squeaky tennis balls – they’re the best!
