Join us Sunday, May 17th 3:30 at the Ottauquechee Yacht Club for a presentation by author Betsy Vereckey about her new memoir Moving to My Dog’s Hometown. Betsy is a longtime writer whose work has been published in The New York Times Modern Love Column, The Boston Globe, Food & Wine, and more! There will also be a 50/50 raffle with proceeds benefitting our shelter.

Moving to My Dog’s Hometown, her debut memoir, was published this January by Rootstock Publishing. Following her divorce, Betsy decided she needed a change. So at 37, she decided to uproot her life in New York City, for a small town in New Hampshire, a place she only knew as her dog Ronan’s hometown. Described by Wendy Willis Baldwin as “a story about our very human need for companionship and a tender-hearted reminder that not all who wander are lost.”.
